March 2011
Just got back a test that I took two weeks ago.. 41/42 - 98%  This seems to be my biggest course load for a single semester and yet I’m killing it, so hard.

A few weeks ago, CNN posted an article about the benefits of a vegan diet on their website (sparked by Bill Clinton adopting this new life-style). There was a lot of comments posted, both favoring and disputing veganism. This seems to be a topic almost as polarizing as religion and politics, and I have no idea why. But this guy posted a comment that really strikes a chord… this is just one...

Taking a vacation
Spring Break! Woo Hoo! College and stuff.  Spring Break is a gigantic tease. I don’t know how so many students can truly relax in the middle of a semester. I don’t know about most, but I have five research papers hanging over my head and a test to study for on the first day back from break. The only break that I get is that I don’t have to visit the campus for the next week,...

I will tell you a super awesome secret… gargling with salt water will do wonders for your soar throat.  I don’t get sick very often at all (knock on wood), but when I do I’ve tried to avoid jumping to run to a doctor’s office to get some drugs to make it all better. You can help your body heal its self if you give it the means to do so. Nourish yourself, get your vitamins,...
